Beekeeping For Hope began with the original queen bee called Phoenix. Named after her unique pattern on her thorax. She arrived as part of a locally caught swarm and was placed (with her colony) into our first, brand new beehive. She was part of a ‘prime’ swarm and once inside she didn’t take long to begin creating an incredible team of focused and calm honeybee workers and drones.

All of our working queens are the daughters of Queen Phoenix & Queen Mountain.

Partnership with Bee-Gone

In 2025 Beekeeping For Hope came into partnership with the incredible team behind Beegone. With the high amount of live honeybee removals they receive, we stepped in to provide a solution to help rehome them. We have opened our apiaries to give these bees another chance at life, where they will be put to work for a cause greater than anything they can imagine.

Please check out the services Beegone provide HERE and why not view their case studies.

Well-being of the Honeybees

Once we have these bees in our care we will give them the best chance at a new life. A secure home, and a quiet location, so they can begin doing what they do best and nourish and enhance their surrounding environment, plus bring in some delicious honey that will help us with our charitable goals.
