OUR MISSION

Beekeeping For Hope is a unique non-profit organisation based in Warblington UK, that is passionately dedicated to the alleviation of poverty. Our primary method of achieving this noble mission is through the practice of beekeeping. We harvest the honey from dedicated honeybee colonies, which are gathering honey for individual causes.

“Our honeybees play a vital and very unique role.”

At Beekeeping For Hope we also spend a great deal of time educating the public and the next generation of beekeepers about the importance of our pollinators though our various educational experiences.

POVERTY ALLEVIATION

We’re dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives. Therefore, every penny we earn from sale of our Honey goes directly towards supporting charitable causes. By purchasing our honey, not only are you enjoying a delicious product, but you’re also directly contributing to saving the lives of those in desperate need of help.

Together, we can create a sweeter world, one jar of honey at a time.

We want to emphasize that our primary goal is not to make personal profit, but rather to make a difference in the lives of others. This entire journey has been an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling experience, and we are grateful for the blessings it has brought.

EDUCATION

In addition to our charitable efforts, we take great pleasure in sharing our knowledge and passion for beekeeping within the local community.

Our educational experience is designed to teach children and adults about the importance of pollinators in our environment and what we can do to help and care for them. We also educate on the incredibly complex, yet fascinating world of honeybees.

So why not send us a message and join our Beekeeper James for a safe and engaging hive inspection.

We are currently featured in the Tesco Blue Token Scheme in and around Portsmouth. More information coming soon.

OUR HONEY

We greatly value and dedicate a significant amount of our free time to caring for our bees. It brings us immense satisfaction to witness the happiness and strength of our bee colonies, as they produce an abundance of delicious honey.

When it comes time to harvest the honey, we always prioritise the well-being of our bees by ensuring they have plenty of honey left for themselves. This increases their chances of survival during the harsh winter months. The honey we collect is strictly surplus.

To maintain the highest quality, our honey goes through a filtration process. First, it is carefully extracted from the comb, then filtered to remove any debris. Afterward, it is given time to settle before undergoing another round of filtration. Finally, the honey is delicately poured into glass jars, to preserve its natural goodness.

Additionally, we utilize the wax capping’s collected during the honey extraction process to craft all-natural balms, adding another layer of sustainability to our beekeeping practices.
