“Our Honeybees play a vital and very unique role.”

We are a unique non-profit charity based in Horndean, Hampshire, that is passionately dedicated to educating children, adults, aspiring beekeepers and disadvantaged individuals about the importance of our pollinators. We harness the power of nature to help transform lives.

Whether it’s inspecting a hive, harvesting honey or learning new skills, our work is about giving people a second chance, a new direction, and a sense of Hope.

Working with The Arukah Project we offer hands-on beekeeping experiences that support young ex-offenders, at risk youth, isolated individuals and those seeking purpose and community. Through one-to-one sessions, participants gain practical skills, and confidence. We help provide a calming space where people can heal, learn and grow.

We are also dedicated to the alleviation of poverty. Our primary method of achieving this mission is through the practice of beekeeping. We harvest the excess honey from dedicated honeybee colonies, which are gathering honey for the local community and the incredible charity Hope4.

Our Trustee John and friends Lewis and Jamie are climbing Ben Nevis this July, in Beesuits!!! They’re doing this in order to help us with some much need funds. Please show your support and consider donating.
